Liberty Creek High School, located at 100 Wolfpack Way in Gallatin, Tennessee, is part of the Sumner County Schools district. The school was established to alleviate overcrowding in existing schools within the district. In response to this issue, Sumner County Schools released plans in October 2019 for a new cluster of schools, including Liberty Creek High School, along with an elementary and a middle school of the same name.
Construction for the Liberty Creek campus was approved in November 2019, and Dr. Phillip Holt was appointed as the first principal. The high school opened its doors on August 1, 2022, initially serving students in grades 6–12. However, once the middle school building was completed in 2024, students in grades 6–8 transitioned to the new Liberty Creek Middle School facility.
Since its opening, Liberty Creek High School has demonstrated strong academic performance. The school consistently ranks among the top high schools in Tennessee, with impressive academic performance and a strong focus on equity and inclusion for all students.
In addition to academics, Liberty Creek High School has quickly established a competitive athletics program. The school's teams have achieved notable successes in various sports, including state championships in girls' soccer (2023), girls' softball (2024, 2025), and girls' track and field (2024).
Liberty Creek High School continues to grow and serve the Gallatin community, offering a range of academic and extracurricular opportunities for its students.
